Zeena started her career in the Gaming Industry 33 years ago and has worked in various sectors in the industry over the years ranging from Count Clerk in Casinos to a General Manager in Bingo Operations, Compliance Manager in Manufacturing and Senior Vice President of a Testing Laboratory in South Africa and Director of a Testing Laboratory in Uganda. With her experience knowledge and professional stance in the Gaming Industry, Zeena offers a significant amount of expertise in several fields such as General Management, Customer Relations, technical knowledge, Corporate and Business Management and Specializes in Gaming Law and Statutory Compliance, including legal and corporate governance.

Some of Zeena’s great accomplishments is working in operations for 18 years, opening 4 casinos and 7 Bingo Operations. She served as Deputy Chairman of the South African Gaming Manufacturers Association and has served since 2012 on the Editorial Committee for South African Technical Standards of Gaming Equipment. She was nominated as the most successful businesswoman in Gaming in 2007, SBEA Outstanding Women Award in 2022, one of the Top 50 most influential women in Gaming in 2024 and the Women in Gaming Ambassador for Gauteng in 2024. Zeena has also been at the forefront of many new Gaming Products coming into South Africa which has grown the industry’s gambling revenues by Billions of Rands.

Zeena’s dream is to grow much-needed skills and give back to the industry in any way she can. In 2015, she partnered with a training academy and designed and implemented the very first National Qualification Training Programme in Gaming Operations in South Africa, giving unemployed, underprivileged individuals the opportunity to obtain a recognised qualification.  Zeena is a dynamic woman and an industry Legend.
